If you have a passion to see more people on bikes and have skills to contribute to our organization, we’d love for you to apply to become a director on our board.

Working with us on London Cycle Link’s board is an excellent opportunity to positively affect change, and a chance to provide your specific knowledge or expertise to really make a difference to our operations. Expand your existing community of friends and colleagues by collaborating with board members who have different backgrounds and insights!

Our AGM is coming up in January and we have a few vacancies that we’d like to fill. LCL is directed by a board of up to 11 directors. We are especially looking for people who have experience/ skills in the following areas:

•  governance

• leadership

• strategic, big-picture thinking

Responsibilities:

• Understand and promote LCL’s mission

• Keep up to date with issues and trends that affect LCL

• Attend and actively participate in at least 10 board meetings. (We have 12 monthly board meetings, approximately 2 hours in length, held the second Wednesday of the month)

• Attend and actively participate in the annual general meeting

London Cycle Link actively seeks board members who reflect the diverse community it serves. Individuals typically underrepresented in the cycling industry are encouraged to apply. This includes (but is not limited to) individuals who identify as queer, gender diverse, Indigenous, persons of colour, women, persons living with disabilities or with mental health variations.
