What is a Bike-Friendly Business membership?

A Bike-Friendly Business membership gives businesses an opportunity to be recognized for their commitment to a more environmentally friendly world. Purchase of this membership means you are actively supporting customers, staff, and community members in biking to your establishment. A Bike-Friendly Business membership gives you and your staff access to extra resources and support to become more bike-friendly.

By purchasing a business membership, you not only help us flourish as a non-profit, but you bring more awareness to your business. Becoming a member of London Cycle Link connects you to our growing audience of 5000+ avid cyclists and community members.

Qualifications

Business members pay an annual fee, dependent on the number of paid staff, and must have a minimum of two amenities for cyclists. Amenities may include;

• Secure bike parking*

• Available bike maps

• Tire pump/tool kit

• Showers for staff, etc.

• Staff bike-lending program

• Bike for business use at the business

*If you do not currently have a bike rack for your employees or customers, please contact the City of London about their Business Bike Rack Program at cycling@london.ca (available bike rack is not guaranteed).

Membership Discount Program

Bike-Friendly Business members will also be given the option to offer discounts to our London Cycle Link members. Your business’s name, location, and discount offered will be added to our membership page. Members will be able to access these discounts through the use of their membership cards.

Bronze Membership

Geared towards businesses with maximum 4 paid employees.

You will receive a ‘Bike-Friendly Business’ sticker to display on your storefront, and listed in our monthly newsletter!

Fee: $150 annually

Silver Membership

Geared towards businesses with maximum 14 paid employees.

Businesses will receive a ‘Bike-Friendly Business’ window sticker, listed in our monthly newsletter, and a shoutout on our socials!

Fee: $250 annually

Gold Membership

Geared towards businesses with up to 50 paid employees.

Businesses will receive a ‘Bike-Friendly Business’ window sticker, a shoutout on our socials, and a profile in our monthly newsletter!

Fee: $750 annually

Platinum Membership

Geared towards businesses with 50+ paid employees.

Businesses will receive a ‘Bike-Friendly Business’ window sticker, a shoutout on our socials, and a profile in our monthly newsletter!

Fee: $1,500 annually
