1. What do you see as the most urgent cycling infrastructure needs in your riding?
In my opinion, well designed and connected to main roads bike paths, I believe this riding is underserved.
I do not see as many bike paths in my riding as in other ridings. Creating riding infrastructures around safe biking paths/areas for all in this riding as well is a must. Continuing to develop a joint cycling plus London Transit Bus ride as well.
2. Does your party support the creation of an Ontario Vision Zero plan?
Absolutely yes, the New Blue party of Ontario is in support of "the establishment of a strategy to reduce the number of road deaths and serious injuries on Ontario roadways to zero" in this riding by aligning to the City of London's Cycle Safety Action Plan, and the London Cycle Link vision and mission and allied initiatives.
3. There are financial incentives for buying electric cars. Would you support incentives for e-bikes as well?
That will be part of the New Blue environmental solutions done through consultation with the people and cycling organizations like yours.
4. Do you ride a bike or use other forms of active transportation? Have you had any personal experiences that have informed your views on cycling in our community?
I do ride my recreational bike in the warmer months only. The personal experiences that have informed my views on cycling in my community revolve around the experiences I described above pertaining my children and how as a New Blue MPP I would love to be part of making cycling a part of a dynamic life for many Londonersand to contribute to a natural and affordable improvement in their physical activity, mental health, to lower A1C levels and to create a sense of belonging in our community through bikingandrelated activities.
5. Would you support mandatory cycling education in schools?
Yes, 100% I would support mandatory cycling education in schools. I would support it as an essential skill that has to be developed in children by age 12. The same way aquatic survival is being part of the grade 3 public schools curriculum, riding a bike should be part of the curriculum starting in grade one, as children's gross motor skills are more developed at this age and children can begin their bike riding curriculum, and hopefully adding in some road biking skills progressively. Also as part of the CYN Active and Safe Routes Initiatives that can easily be integrated across the city with the help of allied organizations to help eliminate financial and other barriers for children and youth to access bikes at their own level of development and capacity.

1. What do you see as the most urgent cycling infrastructure needs in your riding?
I see safe bike lanes, I personally bike in the roads at all times however many cyclists don't feel safe to do this practice and I believe proper bike lanes would help. I have a personal goal of creating a safe bike path on Highbury ave as I travel it all the time, I have been run over on my bike on Highbury and believe it can be greatly improved.

The Green Party & I support an Ontario Vision Zero Plan!
