In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Squeaky Wheel Bike Co-op partnered with Big Bike Giveaway to give out free bicycles to low-income essential workers.

We gave out 120 bicycles to low-income essential workers and were thrilled with the community support we received - especially the volunteers who helped fix up bikes, and those who donated bicycles. We were honoured to receive a Pillar award for our collaboration on this project.

If you weren’t able to receive a bike through this program, but are still hoping to get a used bike, we have two options for you:

2) You can purchase an affordable and quality used bike at Squeaky Wheel Bike Co-op.

If you’d like to support Big Bike Giveaway and Squeaky Wheel Bike Co-op by donating a bike, you can do so in the following ways:

1) Drop off your bike at any of the City’s EnviroDepots

2) Drop off your bike at your previously enjoyed bicycle and we’ll find a happy new owner for it. We’re located at 740 Dundas at English.
