Why take a car when you can bike? Plan a camping trip by bike this year! When you’re traveling self-supported by bicycle (with a healthy dose of freedom), mobility and spontaneity shape each day. Make your tour what you want. Touring can range from single- to multi-day trips, to years.
In their humble beginnings, Dickson and his crew did not have much touring gear. They rode older, used bikes they fixed-up with DIY panniers made from old backpacks, and strapped a $30 Canadian Tire tent directly onto one of their racks, but that didn’t stop them from having a great time.
Fast-forward a few years. After many trips taken and lessons learned, Dickson has gone from traveling on some of the best handmade touring bicycles in North America to building his own.
Dickson is an artist, part owner of N+1 Cycle, and torch extraordinaire of the Wake Robin (hand-built bicycles). Dickson has experience with self-supported touring in Canada, the UK and France.
