The City of London has evaluated options for a new east-west bikeway through the Downtown and Old East Village neighbourhoods. Their proposal includes a couplet with two one-way routes between William and Ontario streets. On February 20, staff are to present their recommended route to the Civic Works Committee.
London Cycle Link is advocating for bikes lanes in both directions on Dundas Street - no couplet - with a bi-directional lane through the narrow stretch of Old East Village. Please join us at the Civic Works Committee meeting and show your support for safer, smarter cycling infrastructure on Dundas Street.
