Cycle Safe Program Launch
What: a program designed to help students, teachers and families learn about the benefits of active travel.

Where: Participating elementary schools (TVDSB and LCDSB); online resources will be available to all schools.
June 1-5
What: A provincial celebration of wheeling to school that takes place every spring. Schools are encouraged to run fun events and activities to inspire more children and parents to choose active modes of travel.

June 2-7
What: Nationwide bike count for cycling metrics and advocacy, including micromobility for 2026

Who: United Nations nominated June 3 as World Bicycle Day

CAN-BIKE 1 - Learn to Ride
What: Learn basic bike handling; fundamental skills and information are presented to help participants gain proper balance in riding a bike; course is for all ages who have never ridden a bicycle

Forest City Slow Roll
What: London's largest all-ages, all-abilities group bike ride! 9 km through six core neighbourhoods, with food vendors and prize giveaways

Village Ride 2026
What: A fun, family-friendly community bike ride through Wortley Village ending at Gathering on the Green, with bike decorating, community connection, and activities for all ages and abilities.
Who: Sponsored by OSCO & Monica and Shayne Hodgson – Big Bike Giveaway
Where: Meet at the Wortley YMCA, 165 Elmwood Avenue East, London, ON
What time: Bike decorating begins at 9:45 am, ride starts at 10:00 am and ends approximately 11:00 am at Gathering on the Green

What: Charity bike ride in support of mental health care at St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation, with four road distances and one MTB loop
Who: Forest City Cycling Challenge

What: Great opportunity to experience the Forest City Cycling Challenge, learn more about mountain biking, talk to vendors and demo bikes from Norco, MEC, etc. There will also be activities for kids and free yoga on the mountain.

South London Bike Lane Tour
What: South London Bike Lane Tour (a 16km casual-paced ride) Ride with City staff and learn about new cycling infrastructure in the city’s south end, including the Wellington Gateway multi-use path, Bradley cycle tracks, Homeview bike lanes, and improvements to Ridout Street and Victoria Bridge. We’ll plan to end the ride with an ice cream cone from District Ice Cream – or a treat from London Bicycle Café.

MTB OCup #2 Boler Mountain
What: Cross country races with racers from all over Ontario; it is composed of two different styles of races where both spectators and racers are welcome to enjoy the day.

What time: Saturday: multi lap Short track sprint style race with the first heat starting at 11:00 am and the last heat ending around 1:00 pm; Sunday: full cross country race with four different heats starting at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:30 am and 1:30 pm
